Today is a worldwide recognition of the incredible achievements and contributions of women throughout history.
As a woman, a female veteran, a lady boss and business owner, a mother, a spouse, an aunt and a cousin, I find inspiration in the stories of those who paved the way and broke barriers. International Women's Day serves as a vital platform to advocate for women's rights, empowering us to overcome social, economic, cultural, and political challenges.
For my small part, I help people become business owners through owning franchises. Naturally for entrepreneurial women, this allows them to forge their own financial futures. It also helps these business owners create jobs.
Here’s a big shout-out to some amazing women in business:
Oprah Winfrey - Media Mogul (OWN: OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network)
Sheryl Sandberg - Facebook (COO)

Mary Barra - General Motors (CEO)
Abigail Johnson - Fidelity Investments (CEO)
Ginni Rometty - IBM (Former CEO)
Whitney Wolfe Herd - Bumble (Founder and CEO)

Let's unite in the pursuit of equality, fostering an environment where every woman can thrive. Together, we can amplify our voices, challenge biases, and build a world that celebrates diversity.
